Join our sustainability experts to learn how innovation, collaboration and conscious tech choices can have a positive impact on our planet.

While technology holds promise for positive transformation, we must carefully consider its trade-offs, taking into consideration factors such as energy consumption and the use of rare-earth minerals.

At NTT DATA, sustainability is our compass. We are guided by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and aim to become carbon-neutral by 2040. We actively collaborate with industry leaders like Cisco to drive change.

Learn more about our approach to circularity, carbon calculation and smart technology deployment. Together, through collaboration and partnerships, we can create meaningful impact.

Stephen Kelly,

Vice President for Sustainability, Europe, NTT DATA
NTT VP of NTT Data Inc Sustainability Solutions has spent nearly 9 years in the organisation. Joining, from 14 years in IBM, Stephen lead the NTT Ltd Irish business successfully for six years, before taking on a senior UKI leadership role. In 2018, Stephen set up a regional Sustainability Squad as a side role, as his passion for making a difference grew.

Father of twin boys, his concern around what his generations legacy would be drove him to seek out like minded people, inside and outside of the business. The learnings from the activities of the squad then lead to the formalisation of a new European role to lead NTT’s drive to increase the impact of their solutions, predominantly across the IT infrastructure space.

With a focus on Carbon Calculation, Circularity and the use of Smart technology in Sustainability, Stephen’s new global role will drive authentic and transparency, working closely with strategic partners and clients to create more positive impact.

Mark Butcher,

Digital Sustainability & GreenOps Advocate, Director of Posetiv Cloud Ltd
Mark will share his extensive experience, consulting with a broad range of industries and the challenges faced in making meaningful progress.

Andrew Gomarsall,

Executive Director at n2s and Co-founder of Bioscope Technologies
Andy is a Rugby World Cup winner in 2003 & 2007 RWC finalist, playing for 7 premiership clubs spanning 17 years.

He now runs a technology recycling business:
Andy’s n2s have been recognised as award winning innovators in dealing with the challenge of how do we recover the rare earth metals being lost through technology destruction.

Organisations are starting to realise “zero goes to landfill” is not always as green as expected, so how do we reverse the trend that many say leads to 93% of these critical resources being lost.
